Navigation Sjablones 'Vlaamse Banken" 1/100000

Sjablones for 2 hours max stepped by 1/2 hour reference High water Zeebrugge.

Easy and very fast navigation for current calculation ( for Belgian coast - Vlaamse Banken )

Only info needed is start-position, destination-position, start-time in Ref. of HW Zeebrugge and estimated time of rack( distance/speed ).

1. Check distance to have an idea of the rack-time
2. Check needed time in function of speed ( max 2 hours )
3. Know start-time in Ref. High Water Zeebrugge
4. Select cuurent-point in fuction of start-time and durattion
5. Set current-point on destination mark (Sjablone North up !)
6. Draw line to start-point ( with ruler atached to the center of the sjablone )
7. Read on the degrees-scale the corrected course .

REMARKS

- Found course is without the drift of the sailboat due to the wind !
- There is a sjablone for each current-zone (” F" = Nieuwpoort)
- Sjablones are calculated from currents-table on "zeekaart Vlaamse Banken 2018 scale 1:100.000
- Highe water reference = HW Zeebrugge !
- Sjablones are calculated for medium tides !
- Tides could change about +/-10% due to the cyclus
